K&L Gates is seeking a midlevel - senior associate to join the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice group. The ideal candidate will have three to twelve years of experience in all aspects of the formation and operation of private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and similar private funds. Candidates with experience forming hedge funds and venture capital funds, and representing investors with respect to private fund investments will also be considered. We are seeking candidates that have experience in one or more of these areas, and a desire to work with a team of experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility on a variety of matters. The candidate will become part of an exciting global Asset Management and Investment Funds practice, working with a diverse range of premier global clients. Experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house experience at an institutional asset manager is strongly preferred. Candidates should have strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality client service and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
