Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking an attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join its nationally recognized healthcare litigation practice as an Associate in its Los Angeles office. We handle high-stakes, cutting edge issues in an increasingly important sector of the economy, including regulatory disputes between health care service plans, health insurers, and their regulators; constitutional challenges to laws and regulations; reimbursement disputes between health care services plans and providers; privacy issues; and much more. We seek an associate eager for the opportunity to take on substantial case responsibilities, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and participating in trials. For the right candidate, the position will offer extensive client interaction, significant responsibilities, and career growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Big firm experience with cases involving complex legal issues, and experience running cases and managing more junior attorneys.
  • Strong academic background from a top-tier law school.
  • Exceptional writing ability is essential.
  • Trial experience is a plus, but not required.

The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $390,000.
