The Keller Firm is actively seeking an experienced litigator. If you are a go-getter with 5+ years of experience why not consider joining our team? Are you a self-starter, tech-savvy, with excellent social and courtroom skills? If that describes you, then you might be exactly who we're looking for. Title insurance defense experience or related work is a big plus, but not required. This is a hybrid position, and we will work with qualified candidates to optimize their work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
Supervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques
Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses
Qualifications:
Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills
Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration
Member of state and local bar associations in good standing
Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
5 years of required experience as a senior associate in the legal field
Compensation:
$135,000 - $175,000 yearly
