Eldreth Law Firm, PLLC a mid-sized law firm focusing in civil, corporate, contract, and real estate litigation is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated attorney with litigation experience who is looking to take the next step in their career in a collaborative and high-caliber legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of complex commercial and/or civil litigation cases, from inception through trial and appeal
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in hearings
  • Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with partners and clients
  • Manage discovery, including document review, interrogatories, and requests for production
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
  • Mentor junior associates and contribute to team development

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in North Carolina
  • Litigation experience at a law firm or comparable legal environment
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently and work effectively in a team
  • Experience handling depositions, hearings, and/or trials preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
