The Chicago and East Coast offices of ArentFox Schiff are seeking an Associate to join its 4th to 6th year class for its Finance Group. The ideal candidate has experience representing banks, insurance companies, BDCs, funds and/or other financial institutions in direct lending, secured and unsecured credit facilities, note purchases and debt private placements and mezzanine debt and equity investments. Additionally, the candidate must have solid transactional experience in a prominent finance group of a national law firm. Strong academic record and exceptional writing and oral communication skills are required. Candidates should be licensed and in good standing in the state they wish to practice in (or if not they should be prepared to sit for and pass the bar exam). The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $245,000 to a maximum of $330,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate’s overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm.
