Williams Mullen is seeking an enthusiastic and highly driven Corporate Associate with 4-6 years' experience to join our established and dynamic Corporate M&A group in our Richmond, VA office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated associate with an entrepreneurial spirit seeking a positive career trajectory, direct client interaction, significant responsibility on complex matters, and a chance to work closely with industry-leading partners on a fast-paced team.
Job Requirements:
Candidates should possess significant experience with general corporate and transactional matters such as mergers & acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, private equity transactions, joint ventures, contract analysis, partnerships, and limited liability companies.
Additional experience with venture capital, and/or private equity investors is a plus.
A successful candidate will be meticulous with details and be able to both work effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters involving direct client interaction.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Successful candidates will also possess a drive for excellence and willingness to take initiative to solve problems.
Candidates must be currently licensed in Virginia, immediate waive into Virginia, or be a member of the bar in one or more US Jurisdictions and willing to sit for the Virginia bar.
