We seek a highly motivated, full-time Associate Attorney with a minimum of two years' experience in litigation or a related field.

Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Analyze complex legal factual issues while conducting extensive and well-reasoned legal research
  • Independently develop and aggressively present defense strategies on behalf of clients in litigation from inception through trial
  • Prepare pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies
  • Provide effective and timely information, legal advice, and other services
  • Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel with professional diplomacy and professionalism

Qualifications:
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Wisconsin
  • A minimum two years of legal work experience in litigation
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Able to work on litigated cases in state, federal and appellate courts
  • Exceptional people skills, professionalism, and judgment
  • Ability to work as a team, as well as independently
  • Ability to organize and set priorities among multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and function calmly under pressure
  • Technological proficiency, especially with emails, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and online communication tools
