Clark Hill PLC is seeking an Attorney to join our Labor & Employment Business Unit in Chicago, IL. Candidates must have 5+ years of practice experience and an active Illinois Bar license. The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
  • Experience working with public and private employers in matters involving unfair labor practices, employee misconduct discipline, collective bargaining, and labor arbitrations
  • Experience in general employment counseling with a broad range of employment issues including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes
  • Willingness to interact with clients and the ability to think on their feet
  • Exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, initiative, and motivation
  • Desire to grow a legal practice
  • Knowledge of police officer and firefighter disciplinary acts is a plus

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $170,000 - $200,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
