Overview:
Avian Law Group is a rapidly growing law firm. We started 2.5 years ago with five people who each left their big firm roots to create the next level law firm. We are now 31 people strong and looking to add a personal injury attorney to the team.

This is not your typical law firm. No micromanagement. A lot of playing around. Comradery.

This means you have to be responsible and accountable for your work. You have to care about people. You have to be independently driven.

In other words, we're looking for good human beings who can do the work they commit to.

The work:
Personal Injury Attorney
You have to be an Arizona licensed attorney. We can teach you everything you need to know about personal injury medical workup and the law around it, however, you have to be comfortable going to court or be comfortable learning to go to court.

The ideal candidate understands personal injury law and the prelitigation process, has prosecuted a minor's compromise/conservatorship for a minor for approval of a settlement, and has done some personal injury litigation i.e. taking and defending depositions, propounded some discovery.

Of course, if you're a seasoned trial lawyer that knows it all, you're welcome to apply and the salary will be adjusted accordingly.

This job requires both overseeing certain case managers and other employees in the prelitigation department as well as actually litigating cases. At first, litigation will be slow, but the goal is to eventually be moved to either 100% litigation or to have a pod of your own people working under you.

The Pay
The more experience you have, the more work you can do, the more you will be paid. In addition, for any case that is litigated, you will be paid 10% of the attorney fee collected. This may vary depending on how much guaranteed money you want.

What that looks like depends on you. If you can handle filing and prosecuting 5-10 cases per month, and you settle them for $50,000 to $100,000 each, you're looking at a bonus of $11,000 to $45,000 per month. (depending on if you settled $250,000 that month or $1,000,000).

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
