Our growing law firm is seeking a skilled Family Law Associate Attorney who is fiercely passionate about guiding clients through some of life's most challenging transitions. This full-time, on-site position will primarily be based in our Green Bay office, with occasional responsibilities at our Appleton location.

The ideal candidate must have at least four years of experience managing both contested and uncontested divorce cases, marital property agreements, adoptions, and guardianships. We seek someone adept at navigating sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and strong advocacy skills.

Compensation- $80,000 base salary, plus eligibility for our Deferred Compensation Plan, which provides additional compensation opportunities based on tenure and performance

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in contested and uncontested divorce proceedings, including high-conflict cases.
  • Provide legal counsel and draft marital property agreements, prenuptial agreements, and postnuptial agreements.
  • Handle adoption and guardianship matters, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediation, and court hearings.
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
  • Travel occasionally to the firm's Appleton office as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in family law, specifically in contested and uncontested divorce, marital property agreements, adoptions, and guardianships.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills, particularly in high-conflict divorce cases.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Compassionate and client-focused approach to family law representation.

Compensation: $80,000 base salary
