King & Spalding seeks a mid-level associate for its Corporate/M&A practice in Chicago. Qualified candidates will be a self-starter with great client management skills, superior academic credentials from a top-tier law school, and previous large law firm experience. Candidates will also have three to six years of experience working on all aspects of M&A transactions, in both US and cross -border deals, including: public and private M&A, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, private equity and venture capital investments, shareholder activism and takeover defense counseling, and corporate governance.
