Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP has immediate needs for skilled and motivated attorneys with a minimum of 3 – 10 years’ experience to support its clients in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas. Successful candidates will advise public agencies in the areas of general municipal law, the Brown Act, conflicts of interest, public contracts, code enforcement, land use, and CEQA. Preferred candidates will have acted as assistant or deputy city attorneys, and will have regularly represented planning commissions or equivalent public bodies.
Compensation for associates at Burke ranges from $135,000 – $200,000 plus annual performance-based bonuses. Compensation for income partners at Burke ranges from $201,000 – $300,000 plus discretionary bonuses. The actual salaries within those ranges will depend on the selected candidates’ years of practice and experience.
