We are seeking a senior associate (2018+) or counsel with fund finance experience to join our expanding and high-performing Global Finance group. The ideal candidate will have experience in representing borrowers, agents, lead arrangers and lenders on NAV-based, subscription credit, capital call and other fund finance facilities (hybrid, open-end, HNW, aftercare, umbrella, management fee and GP lines) for corporate credit, private equity, real estate, and other investment funds.

Our team represents financial institutions, alternative lenders, and asset managers on a wide array of fund-related financings and loan transactions. This candidate will work closely with our market leading CLO practice. Dechert is uniquely positioned to provide practical insight on fund financings and complex collateral packages and structures that other firms may not be able to deliver. Further, our global finance lawyers work alongside our top-ranked related practices to provide commercial advice across a wide range of issues surrounding fund transactions. Our practice is top ranked across industry publications, including Chambers Global and Chambers UK.

Salary is $370,000+ commensurate with class year and experience.

We are looking for:
  • 6+ years of experience with subscription line credit facilities and NAV-based facilities is required
  • Prior work with CLOs is a plus
  • Large law firm experience required
