Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity for a Corporate/Commercial Finance Attorney in Pittsburgh, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Indianapolis, IN; Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; Detroit, MI; Cincinnati, OH; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; Charleston, WV; Morgantown, WV; or Huntington, WV offices. We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented and hard-working individual to join our team as an associate in our SBA Lending Services team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of expertise in various aspects of commercial lending, demonstrating proficiency in the following key responsibilities:
Loan Documentation and Closing:
  • Skillfully draft a variety of loan documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Efficiently manage the preparation and execution of loan documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of loan closing processes.

Transactional Document Review:
  • Review Purchase/Sale Agreements, Leases, Stock Purchase Agreements, and other transactional documents.

Legal Searches:
  • Review of Uniform Commercial Code, judgment lien, and bankruptcy searches to assess potential risks.

Collateral Lien Perfection and Enforcements:
  • Prepare and file UCC-1 and UCC-3 financing statements.
  • Manage and enforce collateral liens when necessary

Client Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries effectively.

A license to practice in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, or West Virginia is required. Out-of-state candidates who are eligible for admission in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, or West Virginia will be considered. Candidates with two (2) years of experience in other areas of law but with an interest in practicing in commercial lending and real estate will be considered. All candidates should have a strong academic background and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Competitive salary, benefits, and up to $40,000 + in bonus potential.
