Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm's clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. If you have the ability to handle a diverse caseload, have stellar research and writing skills, can communicate effectively, and use today's technology well, please start your application today!

Responsibilities:
  • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
  • Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
  • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience representing clients for 2-5 years
  • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred
  • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
  • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
  • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
  • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required
  • Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a law firm environment

Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,000 yearly
