Winston & Strawn's New York office is looking for a mid-level associate who has experience in the energy (particularly power generation and transmission) and infrastructure sectors to be part of highly regarded team. The work focuses on acquisitions and depositions of and equity investments in projects and portfolios, development of projects, and financings. Experience should include performing and supervising due diligence, drafting of principal and ancillary agreements, coordinating with specialists (tax, environmental, real estate, regulatory, etc.) and managing closings. All candidates should have excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school, as well as strong organizational, analytical, writing, oral communication, and people skills. Candidate should be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment working closely with other lawyers (both partners and associates) and clients. All candidates must be admitted to practice in New York.
