Jones, Skelton & Hochuli (JSH) is the second largest law firm in Arizona. Founded in 1983, we are headquartered in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, with offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Salt Lake City, Utah. JSH defends clients of all sizes, across multiple industries in Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. Clients are represented by trial and appellate attorneys who are familiar with the industries they serve and the current needs of their clients. Today, JSH has over 135 attorneys and 130 legal support staff, many of whom have spent their entire career at JSH.

JSH is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our General Liability practice in our Arizona office. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of civil litigation and a desire to provide exceptional client service. Candidates must be highly motivated and have excellent academic credentials. Our firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment, complete with robust professional development programs (including in-house CLE and Trial College), a clear path to partnership, and the opportunity to try cases to a jury.

Qualifications:
  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
  • 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense
  • Experience with discovery, disclosures, taking/defending depositions, drafting/arguing motions, and court appearances
  • Excellent client service, oral advocacy, and written communication skills

We offer a competitive salary, a transparent bonus structure and comprehensive benefits. Salary range is $130,000 - $170,000 per year, plus bonus. Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
