Jones, Skelton & Hochuli (JSH) is the second largest law firm in Arizona. Founded in 1983, we are headquartered in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, with offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Salt Lake City, Utah. JSH is seeking an attorney with 6+ years of litigation experience to join our General Liability practice in our New Mexico office. Prior experience in insurance defense is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of civil litigation and/or general liability practice and a desire to provide exceptional client service. Candidates must be highly motivated and have excellent professional credentials. Our firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment, and the opportunity to try cases to a jury.

Qualifications:
  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar of New Mexico
  • 6+ years of experience in civil litigation and insurance defense
  • Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, taking/defending depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation
  • Excellent client service, oral advocacy, and written communication skills
