The New York office of Mayer Brown LLP is seeking a mid-level associate (3–5 years; JD 2023-2021) to join its Real Estate Finance practice. The practice represents leading institutional lenders, investment managers, hedge funds and financial institutions in complex commercial real estate finance transactions nationwide. The group's work is lender-focused and transaction-driven, encompassing senior mortgage and mezzanine financings, bridge and construction loans, preferred equity investments, loan portfolio acquisitions and sales, and structured secondary market transactions. The team also advises on sophisticated restructurings and modifications involving both performing and distressed assets.
The salary for this position is $260,000 to $365,000, although the actual salary could be lower or higher if the candidate's skills and experience level are different from those specified above.
